| The cage should be as large as possible because they need to fly for healthy. A minimum size for a single pet would be 36″h x 18″d x 24″w or 3.5ft(h) x 3ft(w) x 3.5ft(d). Try to keep one pair in one cage and this size which mention above for one pair. If you are breeder then keep one pair in one cage its highly recommend.
Housing Ringnecks with other parrots is not advised, as with most other parrots species. The females can become very aggressive towards the males, especially out of the breeding season, the added space allows the male to escape if needed. The ringneck is a very swift and strong flyer. |
